In my router, I changed the port forwarding to the other IP address for ports: TCP+UDP 48942 – 48957 and UDP 26900-26907.įurther I checked the Win firewall to see if the Race Dediserver program was allowed to access the outside, which it is. I tried separating the joint TCP/UDP rule into two rules as Andrew suggested, but there was no affect. My AV software does not monitor network traffic, and the entire folder in which I install my games (and Steam) is already marked as an exception. To me that suggests all Race 07 related packets are making it past the router. Going through the list there was not a single message saying that there was a non-match. The logs are already active, but all they do is tell me when incoming packets match the firewall rules. However, the ping was also 5000 for my friend and he was not able to join. I tried joining anyway, and it let me do so. Opened the ports, started a DS, ping still 5000 in the game.

Today I got rid of everything and started from scratch. Ping showed normally for me and everyone else, and we were all able to join without issue. Back then I didn't even need to forward any ports or mess about with the firewall.

The only difference between then and now is that I was using WinXP. i seem to have put more effort in then ea at this point. The reason I am pointing the finger at Win7 is that I have successfully used this router to host Race 07 servers in the past.

I really dont know why i have put so much effort into a fix on this game. I have provided many ou trace results as well as tracert to ea.sa.com for them to investigate yet, the more i investigate all i ever seem to find are people struggles with poor performance with this damn route. I was told to black list the above as a bad route, but no matter how long i spend during the hours of 6pm and 12am searching for my own fix to this "blacklisting" issue i find no information on how i would even go about it. I was told to contact my ISP in regards to changing my ping path to ea servers, i was told to open ports that i already had active and sent to a trouble shooting guide for my console. I have opened more then one ticket about this issue and they have all been closed as resolved but every single day since day of release i have not been able to play with my friends while they are all on-line gaming at peek times. Can anyone help me with a really big issue i am facing on xbox one.Įvery single night at 6pm, I am unable to play apex at all due to a really high ping rate identified as "118 ms 121 ms 64. ".
